Niagara University students presented their undergraduate research at various poster sessions at the 2024 ACS Fall Meeting in Denver, Colorado which was held August 18-22. These students got to present their research in front of a national and international audience at a conference where most of the presenters are graduate students, post-doctoral, or professional chemists.

Senior Biochemistry majors Kathryn Bednarz and Michael Trapasso presented “Targeting Triple
Negative Breast cancer (TNBC) with intracellular delivery of Olaparib using Cholestosome TM
technology”. Senior Chemistry majors Morgan Hildreth and Sarah Waldmiller presented on the
“Development of a general intracellular anti-viral therapeutic using Cholestosome TM
technology”. All four students work under Dr. Mary McCourt, Professor of Chemistry.
